Sake - Santa Cruz

Ok, I have to say, we did not eat here. We had reservations for a birthday party, and when we arrived, while we were waiting for the rest of the party to arrive, we used the restrooms. They were unacceptable, dirty, smelled, and looked very hokey as far as repairs, making us wonder how clean the kitchen was while they prepare food. The ladies room was the worse of the two, from what I have been told. I apologize to the owners

It looks like a scary monster trap on the outside but it's beautiful on the inside and the food is delicious.

This was our second visit to Sake and we love it! We had the same guy each time and he puts on a great show for you. Very interactive with the diners at his table. The food is good too! And fairly priced for what you get and the show. I will definitely be coming here again!

This is my go to place for great sushi. There are many different choices and combinations to chose from that feature very generous helpings at good prices. The Love Boat is a great value and is my favorite if you want to load up on sushi and sashimi (I believe it 's something like 32 large pieces) plus 2 rolls, along with soup and salads, WOW!!! It 's such a great deal at $59.95! Trust me you 'll be happier than a great white chasin ' the chum barge!

The food portions were disappointingly small. I ordered two special rolls, and they were surprisingly tiny. Most of my group left feeling quite hungry but felt they couldn't order more due to the exorbitant prices. To be fair, we had a large party and called a week in advance to make a reservation, yet it seemed like the restaurant had forgotten we were coming. Overall, this was not a good experience for celebrating my friend's birthday.
