Amazing and delicious every time. The Quality is hard to beat. Seriously the best sandwiches and deli in all of SCV. Go here you won't be disappointed.

I don't understand the high ratings this deli has. It was at least a 20 minute wait until we were able to order. They forgot to put napkins in the bag even after asking if we needed any. The sandwich was nothing special. They're Italian dressing seems to be mostly balsamic, which ruined the sandwich IMO. Jersey Mikes has better tasting sandwiches.

Had a super disappointing experience at Italia Panetteria Deli. I stopped in after picking the kids up from school to grab a few quick things and was ignored and left standing at the counter with my 2 kids (one w/ special needs) for well over 10 minutes). Mind you there was only 1 other customer in the store so it's not like they were busy. And Yes I pulled a ticket with a number. After having helped the one customer in front of me, the lady working at the counter (who I think may have been the owner) started restocking the deli meats and intentionally left me and my kids standing there. She never said a word to me. It was shocking to have been so deliberately ignored. I finally spoke up in frustration and asked if someone would ring me up. I would have just walked out if my son with Ds hadn't had his heart set on having his pepperoni that day. I'm so bummed and disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite places. I truly hope they don't treat the rest of their customers this way. I was already having a stressful day and was looking forward to having a yummy easy dinner that evening. But after my experience that day I will NEVER go back.

I'm only giving this place 3 starts because the sandwiches are amazing. The staff is extremely rude, can't greet their customers or even smile. One lady spoke so fast that we could barely understand her and then got rude and pissed off when one of our sandwiches was incorrect because she didn't speak clearly. My husband raved about this place and I was super excited until I walked in and got treated the way I did. Based on this I will not be returning.

What an excellent sandwich. Not knowing what to expect or try, I went with chicken salad on a soft bun. I wanted the hard bun, but because I was going to eat it while driving (yes, I said that. It 's my job), I didn 't want the crust to 'explode ' into a million crumbs all over me. The sandwich was all I could ask for, and very little cleanup in my lap. I will definitely go back, and may venture into the crustier bread.
