I bought several items from the store, including lavash bread, which I discovered was moldy when I got home. When I returned to report this, the staff refused to accept the return and rudely asked for the receipt. The customer service at this store is very poor. The cost of the bread wasn’t high; we simply wanted to inform them about the issue after driving several miles. I hope health inspectors will pay a visit to this store, as it does not meet hygiene standards. This was my last visit to Maiwand, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
It's a small grocery store combined with a restaurant. During my visit for lunch, all the chairs were stacked, so there was no option to dine in. The food is made fresh, which means it takes about 20 minutes to prepare. They have an on-site bakery for their bread, and many people were stopping by just for that fresh bread. Additionally, there’s a butcher station in the grocery area. Parking is limited to two spots or on the street, but they do have handicap parking available in front. There’s more parking in the back, though it seemed like most of those spaces were reserved for the apartment building nearby.
Tried the Gyro wrap today. Literally out of the world. Not a thing could make it better. It was perfection
Not a good place, I bought a giro and beef was completely rare.
