Mony's Mexican Food - Santa Barbara

So incredible! Definitely coming back here again ASAP. Makes coming all the way out here to Santa Barbara worth it. I highly recommend getting the extra chips and guac, salsas, and barbacoa ! <3

They have a large variety of tacos. The chorizo and carnitas are DELICIOUS. Very affordable, always friendly staff, amazing salsas and tacos. I wish I could go to Mony 's every day of my life but unfortunately I do not live in the country so I must content myself with my yearly visits. Everytime I am in Santa Barbara I MUST stop at Mony 's! Delicious, flavourful, juicy, exciting and comforting tacos that bless my heart like the comforting hug of the abuella I never had. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! God Bless Monys!

The food looked very delicious. You can tell from the pictures. Unfortunately the taste was mediocre and the waiting time for the order was very long. They also forgot to bring part of the order.

Maybe we should have ordered tacos, as they look awesome as per the pictures here. But we had some enchiladas and a burrito which both tasted OK but not as good to recommend. The food came pretty fast and the staff was very kind however we had much better Mexican food in SB.

Enjoyed walking around the Funk Zone when we saw this line outside of Mony's. Seemed legit as the line seemed to maintain throughout the day so we decided to stand in it. While the line was a bit slow (about 30 minutes), once you ordered the food was fast and feast for both the eyes and the stomach. It was the nice combination of good quality, great care put into the food at a reasonable price. Well worth the wait in line.
