Goat Tree - Santa Barbara

Such a lovely bakery breakfast spot. I wish we could have stayed to eat on their outdoor patio right off state street close to the beach. The pastry display reminded me of patisseries in France and transported me to another place in time. I shared a lemon bar and some macaroons with my grandmother in LA and enjoyed their kale salad on a hike to Millard Falls. It was a quick trip but I hope to visit again.

Amazing place! I ate there 3 times and had the smoked salmon toast twice and the lemon ricotta pancakes once. I liked the pancakes but loved the smoked salmon. Wait staff was very attentive and remembered my order from the day before. This restaurant is an absolute must for me!

Stopped here for breakfast, the coffee was good. It was super early but we felt like splitting a burger, it was $18 (wow) with no fries or anything included but it was very tasty. Overall pleasant little place with good service though it was quite quiet when we went at around 8am.

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. The patio had a calm and warm atmosphere, with palm trees and amber lights overhead. The food was fresh and the specialty strawberry drink was delicious. The tables were well spaced out, better than most other places. The wait staff were friendly, although they could improve on returning to the table in a timely manner. We realized they were closing when they started stacking chairs around us, which caused a delay in getting our bill. It would be helpful if they informed guests that they are closing so they can be aware and pay their bill promptly. Overall, a great experience with just a small suggestion for improvement.

The Cafe was short-staffed but they still allowed us to order takeout and sit inside. The staff was friendly. The coffee was excellent, as were the croissant and chocolate cake, but the macarons were too sweet for our liking so we didn't eat them. The prices were quite high.
