We came at around 1:30 in the afternoon, on a hot day, which I understand is probably not the best time to come and probably would have been better if we arrived later in the evening. However, I cannot accept the service we were greeted with. The woman who took us to the table was downright rude: there is no other word for it. She was extremely impatient and treated us like we were dumb, just because we could not hear what she was saying in a loud room. Maybe she’s not paid enough to care, but it is still disrespectful no matter what. The service overall was okay, however: our server and who I believe was the manager were perfectly fine and did their job well. When we got the food, I think I was rather underwhelmed. The burger, which is supposed to be the selling point of Eureka!, was kind of dry. The food wasn’t bad, but it also didn’t wow me at all. We also got fries and a salad, which were fine. It is extremely average, and there are many other, better burger places in the city (In n Out, Habit, Kyle’s Kitchen which is right across the street). The atmosphere was not enjoyable. It was sweltering inside the restaurant: again, it was a hot day, but the heat felt amplified when I was sitting at the table. Inside, loud and headache-inducing music was being played, with lyrics about sex and other pointless things. I almost could not take it, and I wanted to go outside several times. I did like the big chalkboard in the front of the room, though: I thought it had a very nice Santa Barbara twist on a California chain restaurant. But when I left I began to feel a huge headache coming on. Overall, I did not like eating here at all. There were issues I had that ranged from small to big, and they piled up. Safe to say we will not be coming back to this place.
Outstanding food. Truffle fries and double smash are must haves!
We went on a Saturday afternoon mid-July and it was pretty quiet. For it being slow, the service was average at best. The food was decent enough, but we thought it was overly salty (we do enjoy well-seasoned food). We ordered a burger medium and it was closer to medium-well, which was disappointing. Overall the experience was ok, their drink menu was pretty good and they had plenty of screens. Probably a good place to watch a game. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has four options and they’re pretty kid-friendly.
In town to see family and they took me to Eurika. Sat at the bar and Cyrel did a great job. New to bartender work but he’ll be a good one! Give him a try..great drinks and atmosphere
They were able to accomodate our rather large party (30). The waitress was very attentive to everyone! Food and drinks were brought out on time no delay. The Jalapeno Egg Burger was so good! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
