We visited the area multiple times last year, and each visit to the Ranger Motel exceeded all our expectations! This historical gem (the manager is a real treasure trove of history) is by far the cleanest place we've ever stayed; I would put it up against any chic JW Marriot Resorts. With its polished, hard surfaces, tasteful yet simple decor, and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, you'll have the quietest stay of your life! Be sure to request rooms 1 or 10 for a nice bonus view. While you’re here, take some time to explore downtown, which is a hidden paradise for ancient hunters.

We booked a cabin room for our teenagers and a king room for us. The motel is small, but the rooms are very nice with free Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave and bathroom. Our bed was comfortable. The TV was small, but he had many satellite channels. There were no local staff when we were there, but they were a phone call away. You can hike the Mesa behind the motel (to your own risk). We did it and it wasn't easy, but the teenagers loved it.

Very nice people that own/operate. Clean property reasonable price. I recommend staying here.

Easily accessible from the main road. Bathrooms and Laundry Facilities were very clean and nice. Owners were acomidating and friendly. Wifi is great and T-Mobile service is 5 bars. Will definitely stay here again and again when we are in the area.?????????

Watch your wallet since that's all anyone needs to check into to hear with your credit card, ask about amenities list because most don't have. Deserted. Idk how security if seen not 1 person while here. A lot cheaper elsewhere. When asked emailed no discount per different season and so overbooked. The season was not an issue. We booked room few days before and empty.
