フィードバックを提供するA disappointment! As other reviews have mentioned the hotel doesn 't meet the expectations of someone booking a Novotel. It is very tired and dated beyond the lobby. That having been said, it is being refurbished and becoming an Ibis Styles so one can perhaps overlook the stained carpets etc and consider the rate paid is not excessive. However, what was totally unacceptable during my stay was the noise from 0800 1800 every day. This made it impossible to have a lay in or to do any work in the afternoon as I need to. When I complained that the noise was directly above my room (essentially drilling into my ceiling) I was told that there was nothing they could do, they couldn 't move me to another room and anyway they had ..sent me an email to warn me when I booked.. I have put a picture of the email in question below it says they are rebranding. Nowhere does it mention building work, noise, dust etc. They really shouldn 't be booking people into rooms directly adjacent or below the very noisy works. The reception attitude was poor in this regard very much don 't care. On a positive note the guy running the bar/food in the afternoons was a delight. He seemed to be doing everything including the cooking and was brilliant. A ray of light in an otherwise dark experience. I would avoid staying here until the refurb is complete. If you don 't want to use taxis to get everywhere then don 't stay here at all. For me that wasn 't an issue but for others it may well be.
Although clean, I don’t find the rooms belonging to a 4 star hotel. The bed is very low, short and the mattress is not of good quality. There is a backlog of work to be done (repair damages) and the rooms are equipped like 15 years ago. After a long day of hard, physical work, it’s not a room where you easily relax. For the rest the service is good, breakfast is good and the personnel is really friendly. We also ate a warm meal just before closure of the bar which was great too.
Unfortunately hotel interior does not fit to the modern standard of Novotel brand. Rooms are old and cry for refurbishment. Room is equipped with fridge, tv and coffee maker. Decorations and furniture belong to the previous era. Plastic curtain at bathtube and plastic like sink-table should be reminescence of the past not a room standard. Hotel is rather pricey considering standard of the room. Hotel staff was friendly and quickly processed check-in. Cleanliness was good. Underground parking for a reasonable price, 9€ per day. There is a small swimming pool outside if you visit in the summer time. Location is good, close to tram connection.
The attention of the staff is excellent, friendly, and very polite. Nice pool and excellent facilities.
The best location is that the taxi arrives very quickly, but we have to call the taxi of san feliu no de barcelona. The air conditioning of the food hardly works. the very dirty terrace, when drinking coffee, had to contemplate the same trash between sofas for days. They notice the lack of staff at the bar is hard to catch someone to order. the reception service. Something's wrong. They are young girls but in all my instances, for a week, waiting for me every day (on the phone is almost impossible), I have not seen a single smile when you attend any client or get overloaded or it is a lack of training. something weird for a 4-star hotel
