Hollerbach's German Market - Sanford

I've been here a handful of times in my travels, and it's always been a delight. I highly recommend the Jäger Schnitzel, but everything here is just so good!

I love the food and atmosphere. The live music using traditional instruments like the accordion had everyone participating whether clapping along or dancing. The food was outstanding. You can't go wrong with the schnitzel. We had a chicken schnitzel with ham and cheese that was almost the size of the plate. I had the Sauerbraten and the beef was so tender there was no need for a knife. We got a piece of cake to go since we were so full and that too was almost as big as a large to go box. The cake was much lighter than I thought it would be and not overly sweet like many cakes. I would highly recommend.

Went here for a friend’s birthday and the experience was good overall. Parking was a couple blocks down from the restaurant. Service was very helpful and friendly. There are gluten free options for drinks and food. The menu was confusing and laid out like a newspaper. The waitress was very nice with questions. Food was good and good portions.

The food was exceptional. The atmosphere reminded me of Germany. The service was fantastic. Coral was the best. What a wonderful town Sanford is. We will definitely be back.
