Karma Indian Cuisine - Sandy

I was excited to go back to this restaurant because I remember the food was so good. It's under new management and now it's not great. For some reason I have had a hard time finding good Indian food in Salt Lake.

I had high expectations, but when we arrived the place was dead on Valentine’s night, which should have been our warning. Service was bad, and I’m easy to please. Our server visited our table three times that night. Once to take our order, a second time to deliver our food and the final time when I flagged her down to pay. Our water was never refilled also, they don’t have a liquor license, just a heads up. The food tasted okay but portions in comparison to similar restaurants were small the prices were higher than those places. Our waitress didn’t bring us plates for our food, so we were eating out of our rice bowls. Overall, our experience was really bad and we will never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately as much as we wanted to like this place.....it just fell short. When we first arrived we were the only peple in the restaurant...literally 45 seconds after sitting down the server asked if we were ready to order...and I just went downhill from there. Karma surely has potential and it would be great to have good Indian Food close by.... But for now we won't be back. -The food was fair at best... -The service was uncomfortably bad

Amazing food! Service was a little slow but when we mistakenly ordered our food too spicy, they fixed it for us very quickly Will definitely eat there again. Just recommend ordering one step down from your usual spice level.

I was really looking forward to returning to this restaurant because I remembered the food being excellent. However, it’s now under new management, and unfortunately, it’s not as good as it used to be. For some reason, I've been struggling to find quality Indian food in Salt Lake.
