Joe's Donut Shop - Sandy

I've been hearing about this donut shop for about a decade, but never found the time until now. Now I understand the hype. These are great donuts, perfect amount of sweetness, I find many are overly sweet or not enough flavor, or the fritters are greasy andtoo heavy, or cake donuts heavy and dry, these were surprisingly just right. I'm impressed, and will now go out of my way tostop here. Maple donuts are my favorite and I taste more depth than usual, I definitely stopped and stared at my donut lookingfor its secrets, how did they make it taste better? I hadn't had a blueberry fritter before and I'm only sad we didn't ordermore. The line out the door will no longer deter me from making a quick stop, cause it's worth it!

Update: I tried to eat a Fred Meyer's maple bar and I was incredibly disappointed. Joe's has such a better, stronger flavor and texture! Joe's has officially ruined (for me) the store brand, boxed donuts I used to buy for snacks, I have to have afresh Joe's Donut! The donuts are fresh baked EVERY MORNING and the texture of the dough itself is perfectly soft, chewy butnot too chewy, it's just enough to enjoy the flavor. The caramel apple donuts are indeed delicious when warmed up, just likethe ladies suggested! The employees are personable, friendly and easy to talk to. Unique types and flavors of donuts areavailable, but they are still traditional shapes, no faces made of icing or donuts shaped like whatever, no gimmicks. They arefast at grabbing the donuts, too! I have not tried the coffee as I am not a coffee drinker, but it's available. Breakfastsides such as breakfast burritos, too! I have no complaints for Joe's Donut Shop.

I loved their bacon maple bar. Maple flavor is strong. The texture of Cronut aka croissant donut was good but way too sweet. Get some donuts and enjoy them at the park right next door!

The donuts were delicious! They didn?t quite look enticing but they definitely tasted really good. There are some wonderful options to choose from too.you should stop by to treat yourself! It?s a great place to get a donut!

I love the classic American feel of this donut shop and the donuts more than meet the mark, a definite must stop when passing through Sandy!
