フィードバックを提供するI recently came here in celebrating a very lovely couple friends whom tied the knot in the morning, my almost 3 years partner came to the event too. The menu had some wonderful selection of food. I picked salmon because I love salmon and my partner picked the mussels. The salmon and mussels were cook very well, and presentation was very modern; the staff that was allocated to our table was very polite. I even received my favourite drink with my liking. I ordered a glass of tomato juice and in request adding some tabasco sauce in it. I told him I want a nice amount in it, and indeed I got it. Later, my partner and I shared a trio of house-made sorbets; very well done again. Not too sweet, we were pleased that these scoops of sorbets stayed in shape and didn't melt. We went to another place ordered the same thing, we were disappointed that our ice-cream/sorbet had melted which kind of ruined our evening. Overall, I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff member who served us. I would return again if wasn't for a long drive from where I am.
Small but well chosen menu and wine list, lovely view of the yacht harbour, friendly and efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant was at capacity for Valentines day lunch, but the staff still managed to be very friendly and efficient. The meal came on time, and the menu had a wide selection of various and unusual entrees, main courses and desserts.I would certainly be going back again, and would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone that has not tried it.
My first time at SYC and very impressed. The menu contained a good range of diverse choices, which were cooked and served perfectly. The view is wonderful, especially if you have a table outside on a good day - blue water views to the horizon, or watch the yachts whilst sipping a cold one. The service was stand out - accommodating, flexible, relaxed. This is definitely a great place for a long lazy lunch or dinner in the warmer months.
We've been here a couple of times and both have been excellent.For entree, we had the Flathead Nori, which was gorgeous and the spiced calimari, which was just a bit tough but still very tasty and we certainly finished it.The steaks are a real feature of this restaurant. They are tender, perfectly cooked and come with lovely dauphinoise potatoes, carrots (which are a bit crunchy) and sauteed kale.We also had the beer battered fish & chips, which we'd also recommend.For dessert, we had the trio of sorbets (lime, mango and fruit of the forest), which are all very good (so much so, they leave you wanting more) and a cheese platter which was "OK" but is really just a couple of Aussie cheeses. But they were tasty enough. We also had a panna cotta which was a fraction over-set.The wine list is a bit limited but we found wines to our liking.The service is a fantastic - the hostess, Marilyn, has so much time for you and always helps in a friendly, informative way.And then there's the view. On a lovely sunny day, go out on the deck to eat under the shade and watch the yachts sail by on one side and the kids playing on the beach on the other, while you enjoy the blue skies and lovely food.
