Heritage Pancake House - Sanbornton

We absolutely love Heritage Farm! The people are so welcoming and kind. We love the family-style service and the food tastes comforting and cozy. My children loved the chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk. The bacon is my favorite. My kids spent hours playing with the animals on this beautiful autumn day and learned a lot. We highly recommend you patron this restaurant and support a local business and family. Food: 5

The food was quick and delicious. We got chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes. Bacon was crispy and done just right. High quality ingredients. Also the petting zoo was the best I’ve taken my toddler too. There was a very cute calf there along with plenty of other animals. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious food! Keep in mind that the dining style is communal— for example, all the pancakes are served on one plate for everyone to share. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. I recommend avoiding the busy times on Saturday or Sunday mornings after 9:30! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I ordered two cinnamon apple pancakes, while my wife chose two eggs, bacon, and one blueberry pancake. We sat upstairs, where we were served on paper plates with plastic utensils. After finishing our meal, we had to clean off our own plastic-covered table as there was no offer of water. Unfortunately, the pancakes were the worst we’ve ever had—they were huge and thick but hard, almost as if they were undercooked. We took a few bites before leaving most of it uneaten. We shared the eggs and bacon, which were passable, but overall, we regretted staying as we are typically too polite to walk out on a meal. The final bill was $31.00, which made the experience even more disappointing.
