Canyon Lakes Brewery - San Ramon

The decor is quite plain and, to be honest, not very inviting. The food was decent but not remarkable. Our server was very kind and attentive. We might consider returning for lunch.

We visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day and found it surprisingly empty. It's no wonder we were able to book a table for 6:45 PM! The food was mediocre at best, with the only highlight being the beer-battered mushrooms, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the entree or the salad, so I took them home but ended up throwing them away later. I gave two stars because the server was pleasant and the cocktails were decent.

I had a mediocre experience at Canyon Lakes Restaurant Brewery during their Super Bowl Party. I tried the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, which was just okay, and the barbecue chicken wings, which were also nothing special. I ordered a Sangria but didn't enjoy it, so I switched to a glass of Merlot instead. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, and our server did a good job. However, I felt that they were unprepared for the Super Bowl Party; they were late setting up, and I expected everything to be ready when we arrived at 2 PM. Additionally, the owner made a remark about using one of the high chairs to hold my purse and tote bag. I found this inappropriate since there were plenty of other chairs available, so I raised my concerns with the manager. Thankfully, the owner eventually apologized, and I accepted it.

I met my girlfriends at Canyon Lakes Restaurant Brewery. It was pouring down rain, the bocce ball lanes were full of water. I took them mainly there for the view, but of course it was cloudy and cold outside. We had reservations so we were seated right away. The service was excellent and the food was different and very good. We ordered drinks and had a very nice time talking and eating our lunch. We were not rushed. The drinks were good and the food was very good. The people were very nice and accommodating. Lots of tv's on the gold channel.

The food and beer were excellent, and the outdoor seating overlooking the golf course was lovely. The bar staff were friendly, and we were able to order from the food menu there as well. I really enjoyed the strawberry basil chicken sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich was also tasty, especially with the honey mustard sauce. They offered a great selection of beers and had a nice variety of mocktails for those who prefer non-alcoholic options.
