Mike's Sourdough - San Rafael

This restaurant is incredible. I was truly impressed by the efficiency of the team. I ordered the Reuben, while my friend had the turkey sandwich. The bread here is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, my friend accidentally dropped her sandwich on the floor, but the owners were more than willing to replace it. Thank you, Michaels Sauerteig, for your dedication to your craft and the inviting atmosphere.

Perfect sandwich experience! The foundation of any great sandwich is the bread, and their sourdough roll strikes the ideal balance of crusty without being overly so—it's a game-changer. The meat and cheese were excellent, and the fresh vegetables, mayo, and mustard complemented the bread beautifully. I had just one person ahead of me in line, and my sandwich was ready in less than a minute. My only gripe is that they don't have any locations in San Diego!

The sandwich was excellent, the restroom was clean, and the food was fresh. This is the best deli we've tried during our trip. Highly recommended!

Super YUM Sandwiches! Get each sandwich on its signature SOURDOUGH bread (perfect texture and taste). I always get her north beach turkey and salami w/ all fastenings!! If you wish a solid deli cream, come here!!!

OMG.. i must say i have never had a fav sandwich shop i mean a sandwich is a sandwich for the most part BUT Michaels sandwiches r my favorite i will never b able to eat subway or jersey m again. The bread is amazing perfect crunch balance with a good meat and misc ingredient ratio. And tge pickle is a must. For a good fresh sandwich wen you want something non fried for lunch or dinner this is a must try. Always accurate, fast service and friendly staff.
