ZUMO - San Miguel de Allende

Good food and service. a few hiccups on the way and manager went out of his way to make sure everything was good. very satisfied with server and manager service.

The service and the food was fabulous. Zumo was a dream come true. There are too many staff to name and all were wonderful. But we have to mention a few. Hur chose a delicious wine which paired with all courses. Jesse, our waiter, was...outstanding. He brought the red wine bottle and asked me if the temperature was ok. I touched it, and the bottle was pretty cold, so he went and chose another one. We had mentioned that we didn’t want to rush the six courses, so he would check in before he put in the order to the kitchen. Oscar, the chef, came out at the end to see how we enjoyed our meal. Fernando was attentive, but not obtrusive. The food by Chef Oscar we started with a foie gras croquette followed by a salad which was fresh and inviting with blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, candied walnuts, and goat cheese. The soup course was a walnut and mushroom soup topped with mushroom sage oil. The main course was duck breast cooked perfectly medium with chorizo, dried apricots, pine nuts, and prunes served with an apple charred purée. The pasta course was braised short rib cannelloni. Very light. We took our chocolate mousse tart dessert home as we could not eat anymore. The view of Zumo is one of the best in town. I think Zumo has moved to first place on my list of favorites. We plan on making Zumo our Christmas dinner next year.

This restaurant rocks! We arrived a bit early to the restaurant and we were greeted by two lovely ladies whom were handing out welcome glasses of sparkling wine. We can tell they were busy, and doing the best they could to make everyone comfortable. The...food is delicious and the presentation is absolutely beautiful. We came for the unique Christmas menu that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. I'm not kidding. It's so good The service is phenomenal. They had the best attitudes and always happy to see us. We had an amazing experience! Highly recommended!

Service with Carlos was fantastic! Views amazing! Food excellent! Definitely a place you need to go to! Group events are the place to go for.

This restaurant was a great find in San Miguel. It is a beautiful setting with amazing views. We had the tasting menu and highly recommend it. It seemed like a lot of courses but they were portioned just right. The lemon dessert alone is worth...the visit. And the service was about as good as you will find. Great views, great music and environment. If you want something that is not stuffy but feels high end, this is the place.
