We've been planning to stop in since we first heard about it and wish we hadn't waited so long. Wonderful lunch today--his smoked marlin tacos and my BLT, the best I've ever tasted. Ingredients are the freshest and best, the setting charming with attention to...detail from the lovely succulent garden to the quaint (and super clean) restroom. The entrance is easy to miss, so look closely for the sign and walk back the brick path to this quiet and tasty oasis on Salida de Celaya. We'll be back soon.
Seriously, how did I not know about Natalia's? Out on the Ancha, 5 minutes walk past Sterling Dickinsen, there's a sign directing you down an enchanting lane way to an even more enchanting food truck and courtyard. There waits the wonderful Paolina, who can charm...you equally in Spanish or English. Here also lives the freshest, most delicious fish/shrimp/octopus/meat tacos and tostadas. Eat in tranquility at the picnic tables in sun or shade. I'd recommend a particular favourite but, alas, I've eaten my way from one of the menu to the other and I can't pick one. They're ALL my favourite. Her homemade salsas (from mild to head exploding) are also the absolute best. Throw in free WiFi, low key, cool music and you have the best afternoon hangout in town. Run, don't walk.
We came here for lunch and had a great meal in a relaxing backyard setting, off the road, with cute benches and tables and a swing for kids. We were able to bring out pooch. The smoked marlin gorditas are too die for, as well as the marlin tostados. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, with homemade salsas to add pizazz if you want. Highly recommend!
This is a local spot done right! Clean as a whistle with a lovely owner and staff. The food is fresh and delicious and the surrounding charming ( blankets supplied for the cool nights). The only drawback is that it is pretty cool at night in the winter, so "rug up". My only wish would be that they opened at noon!
