This is one of our favourite places for Sunday brunch its like getting out of town without leaving town the central courtyard is a stunning area with tables all around in the shade. The flowers cascade off the roofs and the fountain shuts...out any noise from outside. The buffet is very varied and you can order omelettes to your taste and freshly cooked waffles the coffee is good as are the mimosas highly recommend this lovely little oasis close to Juarez Park.
Service is excellent but don't be in a rush when you come here to eat. Good food takes time. Especially gorgeous location of a hacienda built by a famous opera singer for his Mother to reside in. Right next o Parque Juarez fir a...very pleasant place to set up the Butterfly Hummingbird Gardens then wander into the restaurant. Meeting rooms are available.
Aside from the magnificent setting in the loggia around the patio, the food and service beat my expectations based on past experience. This place has come up in the world. We went as a family, foue adults and two young children and were generously accommodated....I must say that on the way in I alerted the management that we hoped for a good experience or this would be our last time. This seemed a fair warning and it worked magnificently. The varied Mexican and American style menu was cooked to perfection and we didn’t have to wait long. I had the Eggs Benedict which requires a hearty fresh warm Hollandaise sauce which was just fine. The only improvement I can think of would be to use a home sliced ham rather than what seemed to be the sliced packaged variety and definitely warm the plates after a cold night on the kitchen shelves We walked through the gardens and showed the children the peacocks. What a nice morning it was in one one os San Miguel’s premier locations.
