Kobe Steak House Sushi - San Marcos

18th birthday dinner. Great atmosphere. Cook was amazing n entertaining. Disappointed in our steak, size of hand palm, definitely not worth the .Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old loved it!!!

Drove here from Dripping Springs because of reviews. We love teppanyaki and this was probably the best we have had. Great food, hilarious chef and service was on par. Prices were as you would expect.

Usually have a good experience here but this time was just not it. The waitress was rude and incredibly unattentive. Every order I placed either took over 30 minutes to come out or was made completely wrong. Each time the waitress came by she didn't care to ask questions or make sure our order was complete. Only cared to get away asap and take her dear sweet time coming back. The steak was overcooked. The rice was stale and the sushi had been sitting out so long it had become warm. To top it all off the manager himself seemed all to happy to rob me blind by still charging me for the incorrect un eaten items. Overall the worst experience I've had and throughly made me lose my appetite.

Kobe is my go-to place for special occasions at the grill tables but this time was by far the best! We had Rico as our cook and he was amazing! Best grill cook we’ve ever had. He even gave me a birthday crown and lots of sake lol. We had a great time and we love Rico and kobe!

Took my friend there to have Hibachi for lunch for her birthday. We brought our kids because we had never been before and we thought they would enjoy the Hibachi show. My friend and I had been before and it's always really fun! My daughter is disabled and she was quite excited to go see this as she has never been before While the food was good, the hibachi chef was apparently not having a good day that day or he just didn't feel like doing the show. There was absolutely no show. He walked out, cooked the food put it on the plate, gave my friend a balloon and left. Not a word. My friend asked the waitress why there was no show and she said some days he doesn't do it if he doesn't feel like it or if he's not in a good mood. Who allows their employees to decide whether or not they're in a good enough mood to perform their job the way they're supposed to? I paid $75 for lunch. We were very disappointed as it wasn't at all what we expected. To top it off when we got to the car my friend forgot her balloon inside and her little boy wanted it so she walked back in to get it and they had already taken it away. The chef refused to give her another one because he was pissed that we were not happy. The waitress got one from the manager and we left. I will say the waitress tried to make up for it. She was very sweet and gave us excellent service but the Chef had an attitude. I saved up to take my friend to an expensive lunch for her birthday and our kids were excited. If I just wanted an expensive steak lunch I could have gone anywhere. Like I said can't complain about the food but I wouldn't go back anytime soon especially not for a special occasion like a birthday or anything like that.
