San Luis Fish Bbq - San Luis Obispo

I've passed by this restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a review. The salmon, halibut, and oysters served on the half shell were all excellent. Both the fish and fries were fresh and crispy. The salmon was juicy, and the portion sizes were generous. The oysters were also impressive. Please note that they only accept cash. Let's support this lovely little business!

Don’t be put off by the shabby interior; this place is fantastic! As an Englishman with plenty of experience in fish and chips, I can assure you that it's worth the 20-mile detour we took from the highway. The Clam Chowder is excellent, and we also had some vegetable rolls on the side – because, America! Thanks for an amazing meal for under $20 for two. And don't be foolish—make sure to enjoy the bread bowl with the Clam Chowder; it's the best part!

Stop the 101. I got the salmon with fries: it was quite simple, but tasted super, very fresh, and it was cooked under 10 min and amazingly costs only $8'50. I'll be back

Fish right from the docks, grilled, good sides and an incredible deal probably the best bang for dollar fish dinner I ever had.

Very nice place good service good food I just find out next week that's the last week for this business he's retired so sad
