Old Slo Bbq Co. - San Luis Obispo

NEVER FAILS. I swear I have never had a bad sandwich from here. If I am craving good BBQ, this place always does the trick. I feel like the food always comes out fast, but it is always so dang fresh. Top 3 favorite BBQ places in the world!

Expensive for what you get and the food is simply ok. It's not bad, but it's also nothing special. Although the BBQ sauce was quite good. Almost anyone can make this quality of food at home. I see no reason to go back.

We actually didn?t get to eat, showed up at 7:45 pm, they were turning off TV which had the menu, the guy seemed angry at me he had to turn it back on the TV so I could view menu. they kicked out a party of 4 who were eating there. I realized the side choice were limited so stepped aside to call my husband walked back up at 7:48 and the guys were out of kitchen and front guy said we are closed now. Rude and kicking out customers not a good business model

My husband and I decided to try something new to us. We each ordered the tri tip plate. It came with 2 sides. The fries were great, although we wished there were more side options. Veggies and baked potatoes would be nice options. One thing we would like to mention though, is drinks are not included in plate pricing, and when we ordered we didn't realize that. The cashier didn't offer us drinks, so we had to get back in line to order those. Not a big issue, but it would havebeen nice if they mentioned it when we only ordered plates. Overall nice little hangout with decent food.

Love self serve taprooms! A little pricey for my taste. But it's worth a visit.
