El Pollo Loco - San Luis Obispo

Cashier was a bit snippy. We had takeout order and an order was missing. We had to go back inside the store, after we ad already made it to our car and was distributing the food. I saw them check the bag prior to calling our number, yet they still missed it.Food: 4/5

I purchased a $5 bowl and a bean and cheese. The bowl was filling enough that I did not even get to the bean and cheese. Great value for the price and money I spent.Food: 4/5

I had never eaten there. Super crowded parking lot. Chicken was delicious but not very much of it. Bland rice beans?Food: 1/5

Summary: Bait Switch with prices, food is great (Al pastor chimichanga and azada tacos both served with Guacamole).Why I knocked off a star the prices are all over the place! And you will most definitely be charged a few more bucks per plate. When I asked the gal for an explanation, she kept giving me a bs response, I showed her that it didn’t make sense. I expressed to her that I didn’t mind paying what I paid, the food is good and they’re in SLO so it’s totally worth it! However, I don’t appreciate the lack of transparency with the pricing and her not being able to explain why I was up charged ??‍. Anyhow, check the prices before you pay, and enjoy a great chimichanga or azada tacos the flavor is amazing and the meat is juicy.
