A real shot-and-a-beer working-man's bar up the hill from all the tourism. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, football on the TV, the faces of the card-players are straight out of Velasquez or Goya. Real Spain here, folks.

Good service and food but in a pokey basement room at a very reasonable price. it's not mayfair but if you look past the mismatched uniforms and geriatric bow ties it was good value and fine dining

Regrettable experience: We arrive at the place and they tell us where to sit from a distance, without accompanying the Table. They give us the menu of the day and two questions are asked: can we have two seconds? Is there an alternative for the little girl? The second ones tell us no and the little ones tell us that it's a children's menu with eggs and chips, to which we say if it can be an omelette and it's hard for them to accept it. When they bring us the seconds we are left paradised: cheeks with red wine that are inedible and that we leave, you can see the wine and the oil without integrating into the food and the meat not very good. Besides, an entrecote, with more nerve than Camacho, and with a bad smell and bad taste. They changed it but the next one is not much better. At no point do they apologize and appear offended. Local, sinks and some dirty cutlery and glasses.
