Makiyaki - San Leandro

I always enjoy the delicious food at this restaurant! They never fail to get my order right and it always arrives at the perfect temperature, whether hot or cold. My favorite dishes to order are the Dinner Bento and maki rolls, as I'm not a fan of raw seafood.

Love the 2 item Bento box. Plentiful choices for the box. Reasonable portions, delicious food. We order from Makiyaki frequently.

Two item Bento; chicken teriyaki and salmon sashimi (and two gyoza) which was a nice surprise! Good portions and very tasty too!

This Japanese and sushi restaurant has been my favorite spot for 10 years. They rarely disappoint and everything is always delicious!

We have been dining at this restaurant for 20 years ever since we moved to SL. Due to Covid, we have been ordering through Doordash. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The rice was old and hard, the katsu was tough and there was less than usual, the tuna was mealy, and the Crazy Horse roll was smaller than what we are used to. Even the dipping sauce container for the tempura was only filled to a third. This experience saddens us.
