Elios Family - San Leandro

The customer service is welcoming and they make an effort to remember their regular customers. I sat near an older couple who reminded me of my grandparents. The server had their order ready within minutes. My food arrived in less than 30 minutes after I placed my order.

The breakfast at this restaurant has generous portions for a standard price, but the overall cost is relatively high, averaging around US$16. You can enjoy unlimited coffee with vanilla cream upon request. The orange juice appeared to be from concentrate rather than freshly squeezed, which was disappointing. Despite being very busy, the service was excellent. The atmosphere resembled more of a Denny's than a cozy, rustic coffee or breakfast shop.

I love Elios! It is my favorite restaurant in San Leandro with a great American fare. The portions here are huge; I have never been able to finish my entire meal, but I don't mind because I enjoy leftovers. The food quality is top-notch. I have tried breakfast here and I recommend everything from blueberry pancakes to chicken fried steak and eggs. The service is also excellent, but because it is so popular, the wait times can be long, especially on weekends starting at 10:30, so it's best to come early. There is a large parking lot, so finding a spot is never an issue. I highly recommend trying their breakfast menu!

My servers were good, but there were other servers or employees who didn't work, stand around and even food behind the counter.

This place is just like it's name. Everyone greeted us and was friendly. I love the vibe of the whole place. They were very accommodating and answered all our questions about the menu. It is definitely big portions and totally could be family sized and don't be afraid to share. The drinks were so good. They made it look easy.
