Mixt - San Jose

This is the place to come in Costa Rica. Vegan run and find the friendly owner Pablo at the counter taking orders and making conversation about Veganism. The attention to food and flavor is stellar, the coffee is fantastic, the fruit salad amazing, the hummus is the best I've been served in Latin America over the past five months. The owner is a champ who buys local produce and avoids factory ****, even getting tofu from a local artisan. Just night and day the difference an on-site vegan owner makes to a vegan business. All good. Felt like I was glowing after my meal here. Owner takes a profit hit to make sure the food prices stay reasonable to encourage inclusivity. Can't wait to try more! Este es el lugar para venir en Costa Rica. Corre vegano y encuentra al amable dueño Pablo en el mostrador tomando pedidos y conversando sobre veganismo. La atención a la comida y el sabor es estelar, el café es fantástico, la ensalada de frutas increíble, el hummus es el mejor que me han servido en América Latina en los últimos cinco meses. El propietario es un campeón que compra productos locales y evita las tonterías de las fábricas, e incluso obtiene tofu de un artesano local. Solo día y noche, la diferencia que un propietario vegano en el sitio hace para un negocio vegano. Todo está bien. Me sentí como si estuviera radiante después de mi comida aquí. El propietario recibe un golpe de ganancias para asegurarse de que los precios de los alimentos se mantengan razonables para fomentar la inclusión. ¡No puedo esperar para probar más!

Very clean and cute atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was fantastic!

The restaurant is in a little plaza with parking, which is a plus. The restaurant is sparse but nice. We had the breakfast burrito. It was amazing. Ask for the equally tasty hot sauce to go with it. This place also has a great selection of croissants and banana bread. The ones I sampled were excellent. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast for 2 with coffee, plus a croissant and banana bread worked out to only $23. What a find!

I was just at this place when I had to visit the apotheke in the same row, and what a great little bit of a sound! all vegan places with a beautiful selection, from. I have the vlt' that is with marinated carrots for the w'. also had good coffee with a selection of soy or mandelmilch. had something bananenbrot and a cookie to take away to
