The Pizza Box - San Jose

I had heard great things about this restaurant, but after my experience today, I don't get the hype. I ordered the King Kong Pizza, and when I picked it up, it was mostly sauce with barely any cheese or the toppings I requested. I even mentioned that I was willing to pay extra for a generous amount of toppings. Honestly, the pizzas here aren't worth the money. I really wanted to have a better impression, but I left feeling disappointed.

The slices are quite large. They were slightly more cooked than what I've experienced at other pizza places, but still pretty tasty. I definitely need to try the Uncle Sam size someday! Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 4.

Still the best slice of bombastic pizza around! If you don’t order it the way I do, you’re missing out! My special ordering method and combination of toppings...IT WORKS! This place has been around for almost 35 years, which speaks volumes. The owners are really nice, although occasionally you might encounter someone on the phone who’s a bit hard to understand. It’s a cozy spot that can accommodate a group of about 15, so stop hesitating and go check it out. You’ll regret not discovering this gem sooner!

The pizza was excellent and quite large! The wings and ranch were just average. The jalapeños were very spicy, but they definitely added a lot of flavor.
