It includes soup that tasted homemade, excellent sourdough, a tossed salad that 's very crisp and fresh, then the steak (cooked exactly as I requested), and small lobster tail. Assorted vegetables (cooked perfectly) and choice of potato also come with the entree. Then there 's a choice of dessert....loved the bread pudding! All of this for _21.99!! I can overlook the lack of atmosphere.
This homey old restaurant has a way of making you feel special and right at home. What do you want breakfast lunch and dinner you can have it when you want it. The food over all is very tasty and the service is darn good. My wife and daughter are especially fond of the patty melt here. Don't expect fancy surroundings, but you will get a good meal. I can't speak to the bar because I've never been, but it does seem to be popular at game time. Give it a try!
The restaurant has a bit of an outdated feel, but the food and service (shoutout to Michi) were exceptional. I ordered the steak, which came with three fried prawns, along with soup, salad, and bread. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the baked potato was fresh and hot—I really enjoyed the chives mixed into the sour cream. This was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it; I’ll definitely be coming back. On the downside, there was no air conditioning, so it was a bit warm inside, and there was also a persistent fly that wouldn’t leave me alone.
I haven't visited this place in a while, and I noticed it's pricier than I remember. The chicken fried steak was $21—yikes! I decided to go with the chicken strips, but I had to order them as an appetizer, along with fries on the side. I wasn't a fan of the shoestring fries; they were just crispy bits and not really like traditional French fries. The service was okay, but I'm not sure if I'll return.
We visit for the karaoke, which makes it a fantastic community spot. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between incredibly talented performers and those who are just there for fun. Everyone is friendly, and the place is filled with cheers and high-fives. I've returned many times. There's a connected restaurant where we've tried the appetizers, and they were excellent, but that's all I can say about the food.
