Konjoe Burger - San Jose

After checking out all the choices at the food hall, we decided that these burgers seemed like one of the most delicious options. They were closed until 5 PM on the day we visited (we arrived early at 4), so we tried another vendor first before returning for a burger. We ordered the Kalbi burger and Homie Fries, and both were fantastic. The burger was cooked perfectly and was incredibly juicy, and I really enjoyed the Korean flavors. The fries were delicious on their own, but even better with the toppings. If you’re in search of a truly tasty burger with unique flavors, you should definitely check this place out!

Kalbi Burger was tasty. Spiciest burger and fries I've had in a while. Be prepared for a wait but it is a unique taste. Also make sure to not bring cash as they don't take it here.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Kalbi Burger along with some regular fries. I left feeling quite full. The flavors were enjoyable, but nothing really surprised me. I felt that the presentation could have been more thoughtful; it seemed a bit haphazard. Despite that, I would consider eating here again. The fries were good—thick and well-seasoned.

After what felt like an eternity, our order finally arrived, and I was starving, eager to dig in. But to my dismay, everything tasted awful. I opened it up, and the veggies—especially the lettuce—looked like they had been beaten up and left in the sun for days. It was pretty bad, but I was so hungry that I took out the veggies and tried to salvage what I could. Even then, it was disappointing. How can a burger joint mess up a burger? So, the award for the worst Impossible burger goes to... drumroll please... Konjoe Burger Bar. Coupled with the frustrating wait, it was a terrible experience overall. Proceed at your own risk! My kids said wow, yum! And I agree. Jr burgers and fries for the kids and pork belly Bao for me. Mine was DELICIOUS! I loved the tart lemonade and am a HUGE fan of the free refills! I heartily recommend this place. The location is super fun as well!
