Having not been in the area for the last few years we hoped it would be as good. Fifteen of us went on our first night the same 15 returned for our last night. The food is well presented and of a high quality with the garlic prawn starter and leg of lamb main being massive favourites throughout the group. The wine is good without being expensive and the service efficient and friendly. A little off the beaten track you need to know where to find it, but if you do, you will have no regrets.
A beautiful rustic restaurant between Los Belones and La Manga Club look out for the signs to it) ate there two days ago. Lovely log fire was very inviting. The menu looked super with great choices. Would it taste as good as it looked. Yes, Yes, Yes. Difficult to choose what to have as so much looked very inviting. But the 4of us all thought the service was good and the food excellent. The owner and staff all very welcoming. Not cheap but not too expensive either. We paid about 40 euros a head but that included starters, lovely toasted bread, main course and dessert. Coffee and two bottles of wine plus water.
We go 2 or 3 times a year to la manga and always go twice in the week to canella good home cooked food in nice setting
El mejor lugar para disfrutar de la buena gente y algunas tardes y espectaculares apuestas de sol.
My wife and I always love visiting this restaurant with it's terrific food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere The wine list is very good with French Chablis available at a good price.
