Forno Moderno - SAN GIMIGNANO

We passed by this lovely little panetteria and bought a big piece of Schiaciata for our breakfast next morning. The ladies were super friendly and cut two extra small pieces and offered them to my kids. We warm the Schiaciata in the oven for breakfast this morning and there were exactly like yesterday's, super crunchy and airy. Definitely the best one we have eaten so far in our two weeks trip in Tuscany. Only regret is that we didn't buy a bigger piece

Excellent small bakery just opposite the parking. Came here by accident because we were hungry when arriving at San Gig. We ate a more the excellent pizza/foccacia with mortadella, fresh cheese and pistachio. For a local price. So definitely worth visiting (and just a few steps outside the centre of San Gig)

We purchased a cannoli for 2 euro. It had great filling, but the shell was quite stale. Staff were friendly.

Get our bread and pastries from here most mornings. Everything is all banked and sold fresh daily. A great selection of breads and delicious pastries. Just outside the walls of San Gimignano. Very friendly staff serve the counter.
