The food is great, and the prices affordable i have gone twice and i ate duck and Bocachico I highly recommend both

They preparare a very well done friend fish (mojarra) it comes with a great fish soup and coconut rice. The local duck is nicely prepared, taste and tender. Prices are quite good. Fully recommended to taste local cuisine.

We stopped for a quick lunch. Very tasty meatballs with rice and plantain and soup. Very cheap and delicious in beautiful riverside setting. Open for lunch only.

I have eaten a lot of seafood on this tour of Colombia 's Caribbean coastal region, so it was unusual to find a meatcentric restaurant. Turns out that Mompox is in a big cattle region. Anyway, I had a tasty ground beef carne molido that was nicely seasoned and came with coco rice, salad, fried plantain patacones and a delicious local fruit juice. The person next to me had a beautiful piece of whole fried fish and another companion had the posta negra, a beef dish that comes with a delicious sauce. Everyone declared everything very tasty.
