If you want authentic Korean?tangs? This is a great place! Spacious portion size. tonnes of seats available. Ban-chan? (Nebengerichte) is free and tasty on your own. Overall, I recommend this place to everyone. Very close to what you find in South Korea.
The food is good here but the sever wasn't that great. The specialties short ribs was very tasty and it's big enough to share with 4 people. It takes about 30-45mins to come out so order something else while your waiting for the short ribs.
Your signature dishes, particularly the Galbi-Jjim with cheese, are excellent, along with the other offerings in that section of the menu. The other standard soup dishes are also quite good. While there were no Korean-speaking staff members, communication in English and using numbers was effective. The parking lot is spacious, though it can get busy.
Galbi Tang (beef short rib soup) seems to be the most popular dish, and I could see why when I tried it. The soup was rich with beef flavor, and it was generous with the meat. There were plenty of beef pieces, along with two ribs for an extra burst of flavor. It came with complimentary kimchi sides and a bowl of rice. I also found clear glass noodles at the bottom of the soup, which added a nice touch. The chives kimchi on the side was another delicious option. The portion size is substantial enough to be shared between two people. If you're dining separately, you can't go wrong with ordering your own soup. However, if you opt for family-style dining, many tables around me were enjoying larger beef plates, which are presented with an impressive small fire display. While this restaurant has several branches, this particular location is great because it offers plenty of free parking. So, if you're in Koreatown, definitely consider stopping by this place just outside of LA.
