Howie's Market - San Gabriel

Oh my gosh, what an amazing little market! I've been here a few times to visit their meat department, but this recent trip, I checked out their bakery as well. I would have never thought a small market would be the home to my new favorite baked goods. So far, I have tried their Fantasy chocolate cheesecake, carrot cake, and oatmeal raisin cookies, but all have been up to par. I will definitely come back to try more!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was just what I needed! I was hoping to grab some lunch on my way to a nearby brewery that doesn’t serve food, and their deli was the perfect choice. One of the staff members recommended the Chili Verde Pot Pie, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I will definitely return, as everything in the deli looked amazing. I even took two sandwiches to-go!

A fantastic spot for grocery shopping! Although it's a bit small, the time you save makes it worthwhile to spend a little extra. The produce is good to great, and the meat and fish are the best I've ever found in the San Gabriel Valley. I can no longer buy meat or fish from big box stores because the quality at Howie's is simply superior. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and I never have to wait. It's refreshing to know that not every small business has been overshadowed by corporate America. Let's support local quality!

This is a wonderful spot that offers a little bit of everything. They have hard-to-find items and specialty foods. The meats are fantastic; they age their own and only sell prime cuts. Plus, they have BBQ every weekend, featuring amazing tri-tip sandwiches!

I really enjoy Howies. Though it's on the pricier side, they offer a lovely selection of hot dishes and delicious pastries. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
