We Be Sushi - San Francisco

We Be Sushi is a small Japanese restaurant, located on Valencia Street in the Mission. The restaurant offers one of the most affordable meals in the neighborhood. Our meal was decent, but not too memorable. Sushi was fresh, but not overly flavorful. Their pickled ginger is thicker than we have previously experienced. Portions are generous and prices are affordable. Staff is friendly, attentive, and anticipated customers needs. As a tip, We Be Sushi also offers rewards for repeat customers who place orders online. Check them out when you need that inexpensive sushi fix!

Amaaaaaazing sushi wrap. Tons of veggie/vegan options which is so surprising. The wrap I had was delicious, it came with the perfect amount of wasabi and soy sauce. I even got water (I didn't ask, great service) while I waited for my to-go because it was so hot outside. Staff was super nice too!

I really like this place! Just to moved to San Francisco 6 months ago and damn! It's been a challenge to find, fresh, authentic Japanese sushi. I've been to places where fish tasted awful or was drowned in heavy sauces. This was not the case with this place. The sushi here is fresh, and the flavor tastes authentically Japanese. I've ordered nigiri, rolls, and tempura. All were fresh and great! I've been back twice now. This is my go to sushi spot in the neighborhood.

Onions in the miso soup, no recognizable tuna in the spicy tuna. This place is flat out not good...

I like this place as a casual sushi eatery come if you're craving some fish on a weeknight without plans. Lovely service and cute family run business. I've ordered chirashi here twice, both times the fish was fresh and solid. Chirashi also comes with salad and miso soup, which is great.
