Smashburger - San Francisco

First visit to Smashburger. Good selection and food was fresh and tasty. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Minus one star for the cost of two 'Fast food ' meals (see pic). Not sure how West Coast residents survive on such high costs of gas, food, etc. Nice place to visit, but give me the Midwest for moderate prices.

After trying Smashburger in another state, it was finally my turn to visit one here in California. It's a little pricey, but fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the service.

The burgers and fries are pretty tasty! The place is pretty clean and the vibes when I went, was great. The bathrooms where nice and clean. Now the service has a really really great high and a really great Low. They missed up the order, but went above and beyond to correct it just to still get it halfway wrong by overly archiving to correct the mistake ? turned a honest mistake into a great customer service experience although!!! And that?s honestly why I gave them a 4/5 if they wasn?t for the great staff, trying hard to correct everything it would have been a lower score. I appreciate tha customer service tonight. Thank you to that staff!!!

Very odd. We ordered 5 burgers and 2 of them weren 't even what we ordered, and not like I ordered a double and got a single . One burger was supposed to be a Truffle Mushroom double, and we were given a classic single, the other burger we received was a double turkey burger and we didn 't order any turkey burgers. My soda had no flavor, which leads me to believe no one is checking the fountain syrup and customers are inadvertently paying for plain carbonated water. And we received a side of fried onions for some reason, no one ordered it though. The receipt reflects our order correctly, so I 'm not sure what the issue is. I don 't know, if you 're into getting a bag of surprises I 'm sure this place would be right up your alley. At least whatever you end up with tastes good.

Food is decent and the staff are nice. Not a bad option if you?re looking for lateish night food in the area. They do tend to run out of a lot of stuff tho.
