Parkside Tavern - San Francisco

Stumbled upon this place because mi amor lives right around the corner! We were looking for a quick dinner and drinks and have been back a second time since, and I will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area! My date said it was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches he's ever had, and I also think their burger is scrumptious! The salmon appetizer had a lot of bold complimentary flavors, but my favorite was their fish and chips, probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. I did not care for their Pork chops or the shephard's pie very much, both kind of basic and bland. Their cocktails are also mehh, nothing special. But the alcohol does the job and most of the food are really satisfying. :

Excellent and friendly service. We finally had the food here, starting with the sourdough bread and salted butter appetizer which was great! We decided on the Wednesday Dinner special: Grilled bistro steak with Béarnaise sauce, cooked medium with garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus! We paired our meals with sparkling wine, Rotari Brut and 2nd Amendment’s watermelon wheat beer. We finished it with the chocolate cheesecake, which was a bit dense, but packed full of flavor with an excellent presentation with the fruit and cream. Glad we ended up here on a Wednesday!

I have dined here many times. I like the neighborhood bar vibe and the food has always been good. Recently I had the grilled bistro filet special and my companion had the barbecued ribs. We shared an order of the calamari appetizer. Everything was great with special recognition to the calamari which is the best I've had anywhere. Service was also very good. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

I was invited here by my lovely wife for Father's Day 2022 and was impressed by the quality. Amazing pot pie , delicious ribs and man the salmon pancake appetizer was awesome as well. Mix it with a fresh Guiness and enjoy the nice service.
