Maru Sushi - San Francisco

I went here for dinner and got the volcano roll, yellowtail roll and a salmon and shrimp udon noodle soup. The sushi was bomb but not so much the soup. The soup was salty but I was grateful for their accommodations. I requested for salmon when it wasn't on their menu. Thank you! No negative stars here.

We went there twice in a row for dinner and were not disappointed. I loved the Tempura, the Kamikaze, and the Labamba rolls in particular. The Vulcano chocolate cake is also outstanding. Try the Japanese Plum wine. Outstanding food, overall.

Yummy food, just a little expensive. I got the teriyaki salmon combination plate with veggie rolls which was $29 (comes with salad, rice, and miso soup). The miso soup was a bit lacking in tofu but the flavor was amazing so it’s ok. The salmon was amazing, great flavor and texture.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options veggie sushi roll, etc

The tastiest salmon sashimi! The place itself is quite cute and the service is speedy. We came here for lunch, starving, and they served us right away. The best roll we had was the cherry blossom roll (with salmon of course), and the takoyaki was pretty tasty too. The mango salmon roll was decent, but the mango sauce seemed like it had some mustard-y flavor to it, which was odd. Overall, would come back again!
