North Beach at its best. The ambiance and simplicity of Mario's make for an ideal combination, especially with a focaccia that every visitor should experience.

Best focaccia in the world. Wonderful place for a lazy lunch and wine.

No cigars or smoking are allowed here anymore. I was able to smoke Cuban cigars here eight years ago, but more recently, I was asked to leave for smoking at a place that brands itself as a cigar store. However, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and it's perfect for people-watching. Enjoy!

The Grilled Chicken #2 Baked Sandwich was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender. The homemade focaccia was phenomenal as well. Overall, it was a delightful sandwich that I would definitely order again. However, the service was a bit slow, so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a hurry. Sandwiches are definitely the highlight of the menu.
