La Boulange At Union - San Francisco

The food was good, featuring a simple turkey and cranberry sandwich. The amount of turkey was on the lighter side, which kept it from earning a 4-star rating. However, the restaurant is situated in a fantastic area with plenty of vibrant activity and great sights nearby.

All I can say is that this place is absolutely delicious. Everything seems to be done perfectly (and I mean French). From the open-faced sandwiches topped with perfectly baked cheese that achieves that delightful chewy and crispy texture, to the light and fluffy strawberry Napoleons, and the thick slices of French toast – everything is a treat. They even serve coffee in a bowl for dipping your pastries, which is such a fun idea. Despite likely being loaded with fat and calories, everything tastes incredibly fresh and delightful. But honestly, who cares? Just a heads up, if you visit during busy hours, you might find the line stretching outside. Yes, most of the ingredients are organic. This place is definitely going to be a regular in my weekend brunch lineup!
