Gallardos Mexican Food - San Francisco

I ordered the French toast, which might seem like an odd choice at a Mexican restaurant, but the other breakfast options were quite large. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was—it really hit the spot! Just a heads up, they only accept cash, so I had to use their ATM.

The fresh salsa here is definitely the best in town! The shrimp soup and tortillas are also super fresh and authentic. It seems like most of the dishes are homemade. My only disappointment was that the meat in the breakfast was a bit tough because of some gristle in the ground beef. Just a heads up: make sure to have cash on hand to pay for your meals.

Cash only! This place serves excellent authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend the chilaquiles for breakfast, as well as the authentic machaca. They make their tortillas by hand, and the salsa packs a spicy punch. Don’t forget to try a vampiro (a fresh natural juice) to energize your body and mind. I can’t recommend it enough! Just remember, it's cash only!
