Fog City - San Francisco

I liked it very much! Really delicious! Big portions! Everything is fresh and delicious! Service delight.

Fog City is a good spot close to Alcatrez Pier had a nice early dinner good atmosphere service and food was above average. Overall would I come back? Yes nice little restaurant in SF.

This iconic diner in The City is back strong under new management. Went with a business friend for brunch, and we found street parking across the street. We were seated right away, and ordered hazy IPAs (it was a warm day while we perused the menu. He ordered a burger and fries, I opted for the fish tacos. Food arrived quickly, and we inhaled it as it was so good! For dessert, we split a key lime pie, which was tangy and delicious (with graham cracker crust! and paired superbly with our cappuccinos! Will be back!

We visited on a weekday during lunch hour and were seated right away. The interior of the restaurant is filled with natural lighting and windows looking out at the SF piers. As this was our first time, the waiter recommended a few seasonal items for us to try. The fish and chips were nicely fried and crisp, but did lack salt. However, it was great with the tartar sauce. The green goddess salad was a nice pairing with the fried food and the avocado and vegetables were fresh and cooling. The clam chowder was not as heavy but on the lighter side, although it did lack more depth of flavor to bring out the taste of the clams.

We walked across the street after we dropped off our luggage. We wanted something nearby and at first, we thought about going to Fisherman's Wharf, but we were so glad we came here instead. We did not have reservations, but we were seated right away. Did not catch our server's name, but she was upbeat, friendly, warm, and swift. We ordered the meatballs, cheeseburger, and fried chicken. My beef patty came out rare as requested. It was delicious. I didn't try the fried chicken, but I did try their coleslaw. It was fresh and crunchy w/ a slight hint of tartness. The meatballs were tender. Food was great. Ambiance was great. Our server was incredible.
