Chowder's - San Francisco

I believe their impressive, speedy, and reasonably priced meals are due to their straightforward and focused menu. They offer fewer items than some restaurants, but each dish is delicious. Their selection includes several seafood sandwiches, a few salads, two types of chowder (one red, one white, both served in a bread bowl), fried seafood options, fried vegetables, a couple of sides, and a few non-seafood choices like grilled cheese, probably aimed at kids. The freshness of the food and their expertise in what they offer really shine through. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, which I particularly enjoy for people-watching. Although finding a table was a bit challenging, it wasn't too difficult, especially since it was the busiest I’ve ever seen the area. It was a wonderful, laid-back meal shared with my parents and my boyfriend, prompting lots of laughter and great conversation. Our experience was so enjoyable that once we returned home, we replicated the meal by making shrimp and crab Poorboys for lunch and chowder for dinner within the week!
