Heavenly Pancakes - San Fernando

I really like this place and the food is good I've probably been here so often that I've had almost everything with the exception of the sushi which I see they just added. The time before this last time I was there we had a bit of an issue with our order being wrong and yes it was 10 of us but let's let bu gones be by gones. However this past weekend it was just the wife my 7 year old and myself. Let me start by saying that you have to write your own name in a liar to be seated. The last name in the list was crossed off so I was next right ... wrong.They seated another group before us, and ok that's fine let's let that slide, but I sit down and the table was sticky, I got what I hope was maple syrup on my arm and my phone. I ordered and after a slight hiccup they brought out the food, I'll chalk up it up to they were busy, but it's like a one off mom and pop place I expected more. I really like this place and truly hope they get it together but for now it's going ti be those amazing corn pancakes to go for me only.

Excellent food and friendly service at a fair price

This is a medium sized local neighborhood restaurant that has been serving the community for many years. It is very clean and bright with a friendly and attentive staff. The menu is quite extensive with a huge variety of breakfast choices, lunch options, classic dinners and yummy desserts. 4 different flavors of milk shakes can be added to the dessert choices. The food arrived hot and fresh to our table, and the breakfast burrito I ordered was plentiful and quite tasty. Rather than the standard rice and beans, they used lettuce and tomato mixed in with the ham and eggs. I will definitely be going back to sample more of the many options. I understand there can be a pretty long wait on weekends and during peak hours, but it will be worth it. I went there at 11.30 am on a Tuesday and by noon it was almost full with the lunch crowd, but never seemed crowded.

If they like dennis or ihop, but want to eat quality and tasty, this is the place. this is the type of local come. great food and quality. when they come early, there is no waiting time. we're coming here 8 o'clock and we never have to wait. we keep our order very simple and it is still delicious and fill. the prices are also appropriate. the staff was pleasant and the facility is clean and well maintained.

My family and I have been coming to Heavenly Pancakes for the great food, fair prices and excellent service for years. The dining room isn't too big so if you're coming on a weekend or in the morning be prepared to wait for a bit. Besides a well worth it wait, there is not too much you can complain about with this beloved staple of San Fernando.
