The Local Pacific Beach - San Diego

Great eating and really fun atmosphere. definitiw one must be when they are a buffalo bills fan.

We went outside to smoke at 12:55 am and they locked they locked us out of re entry at 1 am regardless of being under capacity by AT LEAST 50%. I can get having a “shuffle people” out policy but at least announce via sign because I was split up from a roommate who had a dead phone. Like at least just let us know your front patio is no longer part of rentry! First floor patrons were also kicked out because they “weren’t allowed back upstairs” regardless of capacity. On New Years Eve and other holidays this place is packed BEYOND capacity so next holiday the fire marshall will be getting a heads up.

Only problem was that the menu had too many good-looking items and I neglected to take a picture of the food. Breakfast shots, great cocktails, carnitas fries (double fried), orange chicken rice, and one of the best ahi tuna wraps I’ve ever had—still thinking about it.Outdoor seating with a big-screen for the NBA games was great too.

New outside area is great place to bring your dog and watch football. Buffalo cauliflower was unreal! Loco Moco was great and if you get the rosemary Mac and cheese share with a friend it’s the absolute cheesiest but a mountain to tackle on your own.

Nikolaus the DJ was awesome! great food drinks were great atmosphere!
