フィードバックを提供するI ended up choosing the Pin Rice Noodle Soup, which was pretty good, but the spiciness definitely built up over time, which is normal. Unfortunately, later that evening while playing poker, I began to feel really strange—almost numb, like when your leg has fallen asleep but affecting my hands and chest. The only explanation I could think of was the soup, so I’m placing the blame on that. On the positive side, the other dishes were quite tasty. Our waiter did make a mistake and brought us the wrong dish, which resulted in a complimentary sweet and sour pork—just a stroke of luck. If you're looking for a typical American restaurant vibe and American-style Chinese food, this place may suit you. Otherwise, I'd recommend seeking out authentic greasy Chinese food, which is much more satisfying.
Let's talk about the food. While it can be a bit pricey for a contemporary take on Chinese cuisine, it's truly delicious. The appetizers, however, can be quite expensive. For instance, I ordered the Peking Dumplings and received just four for $5.50. That said, the rest of the menu is simply splendid. I highly recommend trying the house specialties; you can't go wrong there, and the desserts are worth considering as well. Just be mindful of what you choose! The service is consistently excellent—very attentive, although occasionally a little distracted. Overall, it's a great dining experience.
This place is definitely not your typical Chinese-American restaurant filled with greasy food. While it's not traditional Chinese cuisine, the menu offers a wide variety of options that are sure to please. However, the portion sizes are a bit small relative to the prices. Just last night, I tried the dali chicken, tam's noodles, Yunnan wontons, Peking dumplings, and their flourless chocolate dome. The appetizers were quite small for their cost, and the dumplings were nothing extraordinary. However, the Yunnan wontons were fantastic—think of the cream cheese wontons from Pick-Up-Sticks, but much better! The main dishes were enjoyable as well, but a word of caution for those with sensitive stomachs: when a dish is labeled as spicy, it truly is spicy. Lastly, another delicious dessert they have is the banana spring rolls! :D
Travis provided amazing service, A+!! Made the visit well worth it. Will return!
The menu had an excellent selection, and the food was delicious! I tried the Mongolian Beef, which was fantastic—tender and full of flavor. Our waiter provided exceptional service. I can’t wait to return soon!
