Himalayan Grill - San Diego

I hadn't had Indian food in a while and was really craving it. This restaurant delivered delicious Indian dishes. My daughter tried the lunch special, while I opted for butter chicken and garlic naan. Everything was incredibly tasty, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I had the lamb, and it was amazing! The buttered naan was both crispy and tender. It was so hot that I almost burnt my hand when I picked it up. I will definitely come back to try the curry!

This place was really really good, and at a fair price. I really love Indian food so maybe I'm a little bias here. Staff were super friendly and the food was incredible. Recommend.

Most of the food was very good but the service was bad. The chicken tikka masala, regular and cheese naan, lamb tandoori, paneer pakora, mint sauce, and mango lassi were all delicious and reasonably priced. Just the veggie pakora and tamarind sauce was disappinting. I would order take out from them again. But the service was not good at all. Went there for dinner around 5:30 on a Monday. Took our order and brought out appetizers and ice water right away. But then they took forever to bring out our meals, and refilled with warm water! Maybe lunch time or a busier day is better? Idk but we don't want to ever go back in person. I do recommend them for take out though.

The food was delicious and ready for me when I arrived to pick it up.
