The new owners are truly onto something special! Their new menu features items like garlic knots, which were absolutely delicious! The prime rib dinner was the best I’ve had in 20 years! These guys are definitely giving Fleming's a run for their money. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

We have been going there every time we have been in San Diego for more than 30 years. We visit about twice a year. We never miss a time to visit Filippis. It is our favorite place to go. Started with salad and soup and garlic bread. We ordered side meatball and sausage, veal parmesan dinner, and egg plant parmesan, which came with pasta choice. we chose lasagna. There was so much delicious food . We got full after salad and soup and a few bites of veal and eggplant. The rest we took home and at a total of 3 meals. Each time we ate, it was as good as the first time.

Wife and I visiting from Fresno. 30th anniversary out of town vacation for a week. Our favorite Italian restaurant in all of California. Reminds me of dinner table of my Italian grandparents. Very generous and tasty Italian menu items. I have eaten here since I was back from my first tour 1966 from aboard the Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam era as a 19 year old sailor. Have been eating here ever since then and as residing in the San Diego area until 1991. Been in Fresno for 32 years.
