Curadero - San Diego

My favorite wine bar ever. I love the little and exclusive feeling. I also love that there is no crying list. they ask them a few to get a sense for their wine taste and let them try a few until they find one they like. all the weeping I had are excellent and their charcuterie plate is the perfect pairing!

Excellent location for tasty Mexican food. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. Prices are decent. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

Traveling with family, we checked this place out as its attached to our hotel and we get $10 daily credit to spend so we figured we would at least check it out. I travel a lot and generally I get gun shy going to hotel restaurants as honestly they aren't always great, but I am so glad I gave this place a chance. Our first night Richard (I think that was his name, a skinny mid 20's gentleman with glasses) was exceptionally friendly and a wonderful server. The suadero tacos were absolutely delicious too. We liked the service and food so much that we came back the next night and were fortunate enough to get Dani as our server. I cannot emphasize what a stellar server she is. Even while busy we never wanted or waited long for anything. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She really made our evening so much that we came back tonight and, lucky enough to have Dani again, had an absolutely fabulous time. I generally don't go to a place three days in a row, but we couldn't help ourselves having such a great place literally in our hotel. The food is tasty, the decor is cool, but the insanely good service is truly a highlight that will bring me back.

Eating was good, but the place is extremely uninvitable. especially for the first time visitors. we approached theke, told the young lady we were fed in, and we said we were sitting and being a server with us. we then saw the people coming after us waiting and then taking their orders. again, the good food was ruined by the ambiente. I was uncomfortable at least after that, asking if there was something about me, that was...openensive

Mexican food, yes, excellent. service is great, even if they are busy. I'll come back next time friends. prices are appropriate. this place has many good reviews from a background.
