Chubby's Food Truck - San Diego

Check out this food truck right in front of the Wu-Tang/Nas/Busta concert at Petco! We managed to find parking about 10 minutes away, and we were lucky to stumble upon Chubby's truck. It was absolutely perfect—great location, super convenient, and let's not forget THE FLAVOR! The burger was incredible, and the fries were amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I work at SPAWAR and ordered the Surfing Chubby Burger from the food truck today. Dora was the chef, and the burger was amazing! I’ve never had a burger topped with shrimp before, and I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. If you come across a Chubby's Food Truck, you definitely need to place an order. You won’t regret it! Thank you, Dora, for kicking off my weekend in such a great way!

Worse burger and hashbrown IN MY LIFE. Tried to salvage by just eating the patty. Big mistake. Found this hair in my food... worse part is this garbage was $15!

I've eaten food from this food truck twice now, and both times was pretty disappointed. First time I got one of their burgers, the second time I got a chicken sandwich. Both times, the bun was soggy and gross, and they put way too much relish on their sandwiches so that any other flavor was overpowered. The fries were crinkle cut and were about the same quality as what you'd get in a school cafeteria. To top it all off, I had to wait a pretty long time to get my food, despite them being slow. Definitely not worth the $12+.

I ordered the coach burger and the mechanic and it was super greasy also sweet and had a hint of lemon for some reason it was a weird taste I ended up throwing it away .They had no types of ketchup or mustard either overall very unhappy with what I paid for . Definitely a waste of my money. Never again
